4.3: FACING DIAMONDSA diamond with points facing the opposite way from the centers is called a "facing diamond". The centers are still moving in a small circle while the points move in a larger circle. Again, as with an ordinary diamond, the centers remain centers and the points remain points.
![]() This case is very similar to that of a wave, except that the centers are facing a different kind of wall (head or side) than the points, so the centers and points never hold hands. But the motion is basically the same as in a wave.
