6: SUMMARYCounter Rotate is a call with a general meaning that can be applied to many formations. In the absence of any more specific instructions, it means that everybody will be moving at the same time around the center of the whole square.The same rules apply to eight-person formations as to four-person formations. Formations with a larger number of people often seem harder to counter rotate, but the basic idea is the same. In the Advanced program this idea is applied almost exclusively to either a box in the center of the square (using Centers Box Counter Rotate) or to the two four-person formations that are identified by spliting the entire square in half (using Split Counter Rotate).
