This "quick tutorial" introduces the general idea of a call and explains the most common cases. It does not explain or illustrate all cases. For additional details and/or examples, refer to the links in the "MORE INFO" box.
Wheel Fan Thru is a variation on Wheel Thru. It starts the same way, from facing couples, but half-way through, as the beaus would be passing right shoulders, they take right hands and trade (arm turn 1/2). Then everyone continues with the rest of a Wheel Thru.
Note that the action for the belles is exactly the same as for Wheel Thru -- they are just turning 1/4 to the right.
The action for the beaus feels similar to the trailers part of Box Transfer -- they step to right hands and turn a total of 3/4 by the time they are done.
Left Wheel Fan Thru is the same but in the other direction. The beaus just turn 1/4 to the left, and the belles take left hands to turn around and come back out.
