The beaus walk straight forward while doing a u-turn back to the right, talking left hands with each other and becoming the centers of the new wave. Meanwhile, the belles veer all the way over to their left, becoming the ends of the new wave.
Note that one Recycle can be followed by another. Recycle twice from a wave results in another wave. Recycle twice from facing couples results in facing couples again.
Reverse Recycle from facing couples is the same action in the opposite direction. The belles walk forward and u-turn back to their left, while the beaus veer all the way over to their right. The result is a left-handed wave.
