This "quick tutorial" introduces the general idea of a call and explains the most common cases. It does not explain or illustrate all cases. For additional details and/or examples, refer to the links in the "MORE INFO" box.
Triple Trade means that three pairs of dancers trade at the same time. It is commonly used from a tidal wave.
Note that from a right-handed tidal wave, the three pairs that are trading will all be trading by the left.
But this call can also be done from many other formations.
In some cases the trade will be a Partner Trade.
Note that in all of these examples, one of the pairs doing the trade consists of the very center two dancers, that the dancers who are moving can be considered to be the "center 6", and that this leaves two dancers who do not move at all.
